FreeTrade at Home
FreeTrade Ireland is a unique public service allowing householders to pass on and pick-up items those unwanted household items to other users free of charge. The service offers householders a cost-effective way of managing unwanted items while protecting the environment. The service also has social benefits nurturing a spirit of goodwill in the community.
The ethos of Free Trade is simple - free reuse of items for all.
To become a household member is free and to post information about an item is free. Items posted by other householders on the site will be identified by the home symbol.
The selling or advertising of items or services is not permitted on the website and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
We want householders to think of Free Trade as a practical option before deciding to throw away unwanted items.
So next time you are clearing out your home, attic or shed, think Free Trade before ordering that skip.
This service is brought to you by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and the Local Authorities of Ireland.
